The time consciousness scale is the self -report tool developed to assess individual perceptions and evaluate time for time as a resource. Based on Soman Research (2001) on mental accounting for the costs of the microscopic time, this measure explores how individuals are allocated and monitored and appreciated their time in daily activities. Suman’s study highlighted that people often deal with time differently from money, showing a weaker effect on the sunken cost of time.
