The Social Acceptance Scale is part of the Children’s Self-Perception Profile developed by Susan Harter. It measures children’s perceptions of their social acceptance by their peers, focusing on areas such as popularity, friendships and general acceptance among other children. A positive perception of social acceptance is closely linked to better mental health, higher self-esteem, and improved interpersonal relationships.
